Virtual Social Skills Group to help learn new skills

About the program

This virtual Social Skills Group can help your child learn new skills in areas like group learning, flexibility, interpreting and responding to non-verbal cues, conversation skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and perspective taking. Your child will have the opportunity to interact with similar aged peers by participating in games and activities popular for their age group.

Virtual Social Skills sessions will take place with a trained Instructor Therapist once a week. During these sessions, the Behaviour Clinicians will create opportunities to practice and learn socially appropriate gaming behaviour, and will share strategies for your family to continue to build your child’s social communication skills. During the first session of the series, clinicians will interact and observe each child in order to assess each child’s initial skill level and identify goals to work towards.

Important notes

This service will be available when there are at least 3 children available to participate.
